This auction is for a very specialized tool for setting the ignition timing (which is inside the crankcase and must be done while the engine is running) on GL1000’s. This tool (also called a timing window) allows you to use a strobe light to set the timing and will not let the oil be slung all over the place. It screws in where the plug was that covers the timing marks on the crank. Timing was never made so easy. Just line up the cross hairs on the sight glass with the marks on the crank.
